If you are looking for newborn photographer in Brush Prairie WA, look no further! My studio is located just around the corner in rural Camas, WA.
Here are some examples of family and sibling photos. Big brother here was so loving with his new baby sister!!! I typically like to keep the baby swaddled for family and sibling photos because it keeps the baby calm, relaxed, and happy.
Posing table photos
I like to have many of the photos in your gallery to be a simple focus on the baby. This is where the posing table comes in. I lay a simple fabric backdrop on the table and position the baby in various poses. Keep in mind, that not every baby will go into every pose. I take cues from the baby and work very slowly to ensure that the baby stays nice and comfortable.
Prop Photos
I like to showcase your baby in a prop of your choice. This can be simple like a little bed or bucket, or more elaborate like this floral wreath you see here.
I also like to photograph the baby from above all swaddled up. Newborns always look so adorable this way.
Last but not least, bring a positive and calm attitude to your session. If you are stressed, the baby will respond to that negative energy. Parents who are calm and relaxed have calm and relaxed babies.
